Illustrations is a feature on Build A Story designed for students who really enjoy art. With this feature, students are able to create an illustration (picture) for either or both Build A Story stories. Pictures can be either color or black and white and can be drawn, painted, computer art, etc... Pictures will be selected the same way sentences are selected. You will receive 1 point for submitting and 3 points if your picture is chosen to be put on the website in the story with your name on it. Look below for instructions.
To submit a picture:
- Create a picture following these rules:
- picture related to any part of the Real Story or Krazy Story (write on the back of your paper or in your e'mail which story your picture goes with)
- color or black & white
- drawn, painted, created on the computer, etc...
- no larger than regular printer paper
- After your picture is created, submit your picture following these rules:
- drawn picture - submit on paper
- painted picture - submit dry on paper
- created on the computer - submit by e'mail or by printing out on paper
- you may scan your drawn or painted picture into your computer (if you have a scanner and are allowed to use it) and submit the pictures online (see submissions page)
- remember to put your name on the back of your picture (if handing in on paper)
